23. There was a rumor that he was not going to run again, but
I have heard from several sources a few more rumors that he will stay another term. :shrug:

I'm sure Thompson is thinking about it. But after the mess he left here, I don't think he has much of a reputation to run on here anymore. Maybe McCallum provided enough distraction from the mess and people forgot.

As far as Dem interested in the job, I've heard that Rep. Ron Kind may be interested. No others have been mentioned in my rumor mills.
