40. There is no viable "radical left"
The "news" if damn depressing. Let me summarize it for you in advance.

Bush is going to do substantial damage to the country on almost every dimension. He will be opposed by many democrats but rarely will it be enough to stop him.

He will raise your taxes and call it a cut.

He will draft your kids and call it giving them an "opportunity to serve".

He will eliminate your healthcare and call it "giving you ownership of your healthcare plan"

He will call flipping hamburgers "manufacturing jobs"

He will invade foriegn lands and call it "liberation".

There is very little I need to know from the media to understand that the "light at the end of the tunnel" is an oncoming train. This soap opera no longer amuses me. I am going to go about the work of building community locally.
