14. Keith mentioned on his show a few months back that he
did NOT vote for B/C in 2000. He also mentioned once, in a long-ago interview during his ESPN days that he was raised in a "politically liberal" household. You do the math. I don't think he's pandering. I think he's actually a very solid journalist at heart who wants to get to the bottom of the stories he's covering-you know-like journalists used to do in the good old days before they all became corporate whores.

Re: Support for KO--lots of e-mails. I think MSNBC has been impressed by the e-mails they've gotten on this. I see a lot more promos for Countdown on air now. It used to be all Hardball promos, all the time. I saw that we put links to his show's website on our own liberal websites. Tell friends. Write snail mail. Copy your e-mails to the show to the official MSNBC addys too: feedback@msnbc.com; viewerservices@msnbc.com. Let them know how you feel. Hell, write Rick Kaplan (head of MSNBC) a snail mail letter.
