Advance ticketing will be available for Stanford students, faculty, and staff who did not take a special fee refund for Speakers Bureau. A fixed number of tickets will be distributed in White Plaza and the Graduate Community Center from 11:30am to 1:00pm on Monday, November 22; Tuesday, November 23; Wednesday, November 24; and Monday, November 29. We will issue up to 2 tickets per SUID and allow each student to carry up to 2 SUIDs. Ticket holders must arrive by 7 pm to be guaranteed admission.

A limited number of tickets will be available for presale for $10 to community members without Stanford ID through the Stanford Ticket Office.

Admission will still be available at the door. At the door, priority will be given to Stanford students, faculty, and staff with tickets and SUID; then Stanford students, faculty, and staff with SUID only; then community members without SUID.

"Howard Dean proved that candidates for the Presidency must think outside the box if they want to wake up the masses and breathe new life into an election campaign. During his run for the Democratic nomination for President, Governor Dean used the Internet in a way no presidential candidate has before. His revolutionary concept organized his supporters with a blog and an online fundraising Web site, which helped generate an immense grassroots support base. To continue this successful outreach, Governor Dean has formed a new organization, Democracy for America, building on the phenomenal grassroots support for his presidential campaign. Democracy for America will be committed to strong, sustained grassroots involvement in the democratic process.

As Governor of Vermont- working with lawmakers, prosecutors, judges, and law enforcement- Governor Dean cracked down on violent crime in Vermont and ensured that violent felons spend time behind bars. He fought to protect family farms, increased the number of women and minorities in judgeships and other prominent positions, cracked down on domestic violence, and put Vermont in the forefront for child support collections".END SNIP
