Him being very pro-Israel and in a position of power and influence, and there being an opinion that Middle Eastern powers are anti-Israel, Lieberman's positions come from a place of protecting Israel (right or wrong.)

But that isn't what this thread is about.

That position certainly hasn't "done more harm to the Dems than any Thug could ever do."

Nor has the original poster shown that Lieberman was responsible for Florida 2000.
