18. There is where my problem lay. About a month before the peace
demostrations, suddenly we start hearing, "democracy on the march," "the Cedar Revolution." Bush is a hero, an idiot-savant. Democracy comes to the Middle East. (Heard anything lately? Organize a Peace March.)

I felt, and still do feel, that this was a fRight wing tactic to discourage people from marching. And I think, in some cases, it worked.

We had fewer on Saturday, the 19th of March, than on Thursday, the 20th of January.

It's not that I don't want democracy in the Middle East; it's that I want my boys home, all of them.

I resent all that took part in the propogandizing of Bush As Savior.
