Sweetie - my point was that I think the guy is a plant or a nut. Bush did not steal the election using machines. He stole it the way a cabal of sociopaths always do..they stole the hearts and minds of many Americans and got them to vote against their own self interest using 'herding' techniques and the tools sociopaths always use.
It is much easier for you to believe that a machine was programed to steal this election. Because it means there is a way out of this mess. I think you are just putting off the inevitable.. which is that you have some scary people in the WH and most of your country does not see this. And it pains you to witness so much of your country caught up in lies. And you want it to be small and go away in 4 years at least. But Bush & the GOP machine are actually much worse than that.. and there is no guarantee that they cannot steal the next election too. That is the hard part. That your life has changed and you have monsters in it and they are all over your life and they want the liberal life you know and love to be destroyed.
I do not for a second believe any machine was fooled with. I know only too well how a great sociopath can control the minds of a large number of people.
I would learn how to cry hard. And laugh even though what America has lost hurts. Laughing will keep you sane. As will crying. Things are different. Bush won that election and all the civil servants and the press have to respect that. That is how democracy works. Even as Bush tries to run the economy into the ground.
My advice to you would be to take a step back. Don't get lost in small details if you were not there to witness them yourself. It is the larger patterns that speak the truth. Bush & Rove are monsters. They stole the election by stealing hearts and minds.
And I am sure there was some voter intimidation with the felon lists of only African Americans being pursued in Florida. I am sure there was tons of that type of electoral game playing going on. So there is a need for voter reform. And it is a crime that Bush has gotten so many people to no longer trust the voting system (what with all his lies about everything).
