From that liberal-media bastion the Houston Chronicle:

WASHINGTON - House Majority Leader Tom DeLay asked Senate Republicans on Tuesday to be patient while he defends himself against a Democratic campaign to unseat him and news reports about his ethics.

:wtf:

This is NOT an editorial, it's supposedly 'straight news'. So who's reading the DeLay playbook ("Blame the Democrats")

Headline:
DeLay wants 'chance to defend himself'
Majority leader asks Republicans in Senate for time

I say let's write to Mr. Martinez, his editor and their bosses and call them on this bullshit.
