Question for the Political Wonks - Democratic Party rebuttal?
Advertisements [?]
Will the Democrats be allowed to make a rebuttal to Chimpy's little lie and weave talk tonight? I know after most major speeches, etc. the Democratic Party is allowed to have a representative give a "the rest of the story" side of the discussion. Since this is a "news conference" (oxymoron - like anything remotely resembling news will come out of tonight's lame exercise) will a Dem leader get a few minutes to call the man a big fat liar on national TV?

Has anybody seen the line up on who will be parsing the news conference afterward on the news channels? I see Joe Scarborough, Zell Miller and Ron Silver all pimping for the Chimp.

Also, I have got my fingers crossed that this little speech falls flat in the ratings. Everybody would rather turn in and watch OC or Law and Order reruns than give this "moran" a minute of their time. I want a news story tomorrow morning on how many people didn't bother.
