4. Sunday A.M. O.C. Register
Much to my shock and amazement, the OC Register had two huge pics, front page, above the fold! One pic was a small group of pro-war?(anyone know what that really means?). The other pic was a HUGE anti-war crowd shot. For those of you that don't live in Orange County, it is extremely repug and to see anything that doesn't have that spin is amazing. I haven't read the article yet, so I'm not sure if the words match the photos. I am at least encouraged that a paper like this would put pics that show an honest view rather than rightie spew. Back to original post- while attending a vigil, I was surprised to see as many Laguna Woods residents as I did. It was wonderful, they apparently have a very active group that I would love to join. Many that I spoke with did not seem to be aware of the blogging groups they could be active with, but perhaps I made a small contribution to their knowledge. At the very least, I think I convinced some to try to buy blue! This could be such a powerful group, I really wish I could think of a way to tap in.
