...what about all the toxic water that has seeped into the soil? Isn't that still gonna be too toxic to re-build on top of?

Slightly off topic (the BRACC base closings), Fort Monmouth scheduled to be closed (NJ) would leave land with some toxic residue in the center of a wealthy area. I don't think private construction would be allowed on the land because of the toxic levels in the soil. This has already happened in another affluent area about 10 miles south of this location (Camp Evans).

How will New Orleans be any different? How will they rebuild? Or even be allowed to re-occupy the area if toxic levels aren't first taken care of?


...on to yet another topic, but still answering your question... The bigger disaster (simply because of long term effects) will be Roberts as Chief Justice. Just my opinion.
