49. Ben Marble, I cried when I saw the photos of your beautiful home and
backyard pool, destroyed. We used to have a beautiful backyard and a pool, too, but we moved away to smaller quarters here in Oregon.

Not to minimize your terrible loss, we made the mistake of going back with our realtor to see the property a year later. The man we sold the property to had put it back on the market. Prior to that, he had cut down ALL the gorgeous 40 - 60 ft. maple trees we took care of for more than thirty years. To boot, the pool was black with disgusting algae and maltreatment. My husband and I just cried all the way back to the hotel. All I have left is the photographs and the memories of our five children and that beautiful backyard. Now I'm glad I at least have those photographs and memories.

Of course, your story is much, much worse, but it's all I have to relate to... I've never lost a home, but lived in Florida for 28 years and remember many terrible hurricanes. I've had nightmares since August 29th and feel just awful for people like you in this circumstance.

Well, I hope many, many good things come to you and your family in the future. How else can we help you besides getting involved in your ebay auction? (I buy and sell locally in thrift shops and consignment shops and don't do much purchasing on the Internet.)

You should have seen me (washing dishes) the day you spewed at that A**HOLE Cheney. I threw the wet sponge across the room at the TV and screamed "YES... yes... yes...!"

I have to double up on my Atenolol prescription for high blood pressure!
