Saddam Hussein had no stockpiles of WMD--that's what the evidence tells us, but to people who live in a place I call Republican Realityland, this evidence denies their belief that this war was justified.

It's easier for them to believe that somehow Saddam Hussein was able to load all of this stuff undetected (despite spy satellites and the like) onto truck caravans and haul it into Syria than that the Bush administration might somehow have been wrong.

I think that Romney is dangerous because, like Bush, he will feed into any fantasy that will gain him votes.
