It was a dark and stormy night. The room was filled with a cacophony of
low-pitched marketing voices.

An ominous funnel cloud of sinister PR ploys--swirled above the boardroom table.

"Shall we spread the word that Obama hates puppies?" said Hillary's Communications Director. "These New
Englanders...you know how they love their puppies. They'll be loathing him before lunch."

"No!" exclaimed Hillary. "No rumors. We must resort to name calling! We must select a word
that conjures disgust as well as fear. WE MUST HIT FROM ALL SIDES, COMRADES!"

"How about 'Sir Hopealot'?" suggested one staffer.

"Major Doldrums?" asked Bill.

"Silence!" demanded Hillary. "I need ONE word! A word we can say repeatedly and print on
napkins and matchboxes and those little glow-stick thingees!"

"I've got it," said a timid public-relations intern from New Hampshire Community College. "How
about 'liberal'?"

"Brilliant!" shouted Hillary. "I'll have the entire Eastern seaboard convinced that Obama
will nominate the President of PETA as his Secretary of Defense!"

In a fury of marketing mayhem, Hillary ordered her staff to stay on task, "I want Ghandi on
the record...stating that Obama wants too much peace! And I need someone to pay Jane Fonda
to show up at all of this rallies!"

Like turbid concrete drying in hell, the plan was set. Barack Obama would be attacked today,
with the word "liberal" leading the charge.
