When I was watching all these GOPers last night on Faux talking about needing more "privately insured" blah blah blah I was thinking, didn't they all benefit from gov-issued healthcare in their jobs? Since they can afford any healthcare they want (not like most of us!) why didn't they opt out of it and go to that "best in the world" system we see in Sicko?

Does Giuliani think the average man his age who is a cancer survivor as he is could afford to go "shopping" for private insurance?

The most stupid answer was from Ole Man Fred saying people don't "shop around" enough for things like MRIs. Well duh when you have one you are experiencing some kind of health crisis by definition, like you're going to go shopping for cheapo med services like you're buying a pound of potatoes or something?

They just seem like they don't live in the real world AT ALL. I really think at least half of the families are one medical crisis away from absolute financial ruin.
