and the black standard of living increased, as the black middle class expanded. Things were better for the black community under Clinton than they were under any President in decades, if ever.

Frankly, by choosing him as his pastor, Obama is declaring that he considers this man his spiritual and moral leader. I agree that Obama ought not be tarnished with this man's words, but if he doesn't draw a clear line between himself and his pastor, he likely will be.
