56. *Sigh* If I only had the Xanax concession here, I'd be rich
1) Karl, calm down, take a breath.

2) Take heart, Chuck Norris just told the world that McCain is too old to be President. http://www.yahoo.com/s/787873

3) Forget, for a moment, what polls a year out are saying and look at who is showing up to vote in these primaries. Dems are showing up 2 to 1 to Republicans. That's a really good sign.

4) McCain hasn't one yet (although SC was a big step). Romney will do well in the Heartland, and we have not heard the last of Mr. Huckabee. The right wing media is lukewarm on McCain, at best, and there is no sign that evangelicals will turn out in droves to support the man. Their logic may well be "Let that get elected -- America will see what kind of anti-Christian, flag-burning, ACLU loving, Toby Keith hating, anti-gun, anti-NASCAR, anti-Larry-the-Cable-Guy President is and we'll win congress and the White House back before you can say Ted Nugent!"

5) We only see our problems right now; take a look at what's going on in Republicanland -- it's a scream, it'll do your heart good. They hate all of their potential nominees for one damn reason or another.
