some on here jump at the chance to call you a troll or a freeper if you dare to disagree with their candidate's policies. They love pointing out how new you are to DU, assuming because you are new here you are either a troll or a freeper. Some of us have been involved in politics since the 60's,without posting on DU. Not everyone who is a strong Democrat knows about DU. I like this board with all it's bickering (reminds me of my family), what I don't like is being called a troll or a freeper for a different point of view. That tells me something about the person using those terms. It tells me that they are closed minded and will not be able to support someone other than their candidate. That spells trouble for the Democratic party in the GE. If you think the mudslinging and swift boating was bad in the last two elections, you ain't seen noting yet. The Republican party knows they are in deep shit and will pull out all the stops to discredit whom ever we nominate. We are not the targets of their adds and talking points (never were). It is the new voter, the undecided voter and now the disillusioned republican voter. We need to pay attention to their talking points and counter their lies with truth. We need to learn to debate each other without name calling. You can support you candidate without denigrating your fellow Democrat.
