(I believe they both used the same speechwriter?) but Patrick has not been able to accomplish much since elected. Inspiration is nice but results are better.

I'm not saying that Patrick is disliked, I think he's polling around 52% but because of the Legislature he hasn't been able to get much done.

I applaud Patrick for his efforts at shutting down the amendment to define marriage but MA is hurting economically and contrary to the Romney-as-economic-genius myth, MA had one of the lowest rates of job growth while he was governor. Towns and cities were getting squeezed when Romney was governor and the situation has not improved under Patrick.
