The progresssive candidate is out of the race. He was forced out largely because those who agreed with him more than any other candidates refused to vote for him, and because many of them, for no good reason, pushed others not to do so either.

Because of this, the rest of this year's race will be much more sterile, bland and lifeless. Ideals, hopes, and the fight for a better world will have little if any place in it.

And the NEXT time we beg a Democratic politician to stand for what we truly believe in, all of them will say "screw you Charlie, look where it got Kucinich".

Happy about this, people?

Don't expect us to see anybody run for office with guts for years to come now. It's just gonna be tall, blowdried, prepackaged mushburgers.

Thanks for all your efforts. Thanks for obeying the Beltway and the CEO's.

This COULD have been a year that mattered. Now it's just a mundane, soulless effort to seek office. Great.
