them that things can be better for their lives through Democratic policies they used to reject in a knnejerk way in the past?

This is an opportunity to turn Republican voters into Democratic voters.

No one is saying capitulate to Republicans to do it. Reagan didn't - he convinced Democratic working class to vote against themselves.

Democrats need to convince Republican working class that Democratic values are more in tune with their life needs. I believe it can happen. Give them some truth.
