For starters she's a registered Democrat. I know it might amaze some Americans but political parties throughout history were not always such united ideologues as today's modern partys (particularly the mainly neocon Republican party). Her stance on many issues is clearly what one would term Liberal. She's clearly at home in the Democratic party. If the caller is so confident in this thought they should probably float that idea on say Hannity's radio show and see how many Republicans agree with them... my guess is not any.
