I also know that she would make excellent appointments to the lower courts as well.

Court appointments are just one important part of governing. Judgement on the use of our military power
is another. She has not shown effective judgement when she authorized sending our troops to Iraq or
sending a positive signal to Bush on Iran.

Both of these votes were to show her macho toughness on
military issues. That was more important to her than resisting the misuse of our troops.

As much as I care about our courts, I care about our imperial reach and its impact on the world far more.

That is one of the main reasons, I cannot affirm her candidacy by voting for her.
