They didn't endorse Hillary because they didn't want to taint her because their name has been dragged through the mud by right wing media. So they endorse Obama instead, that way if Obama starts getting bad press because of moveone.org's endorsement, Hillary would get the nomination instead, it wouldn't matter to them because they preferred Hillary anyway. A percentage of the people that will vote for the Demorat would say "well, moveon.org didn't endorse Hillary, so I will go with Hillary."
