84. It goes deeper than partisanship
The interview I linked to is long and complicated. But it is worth setting aside a few minutes to read, because it explains a lot of what is behind the mistrust I and many others have of the brand of Democratic economics trhat Hillary represents. (And maybe Obama too.)

It explains how Bill Clinton pushed a conservative "free market" agenda for the world's economy that undermines national sovereignty throughout the world, to put Big Global Capital and Corporations in the drivers seat in the global economy.

The short word is "neo-liberalism" although "liberalism" is misleading because it refers to the form of economic liberalism that is the opposite of what we call liberalism in the US.

I realize it is somewhat esoteric at first, but it is a fundamental economic problem that underlies so many otehr issues, including the unmanagibility of the credit crisis, the dominance of financial special interests over government policy, the difficulty of environmental policies, and many other specific issues.

George Bush and the Republican CONservatives represents this on a pure unadulterated scale. However, unfortunately, the Clintons subscribe to the same philosophy of Markets Uber Alles. Bill Clintons support of the neo-liberal agenda had a major role in creating the problems that have gotten worse under George Bush.
