In a race this tight, every delegate vote will be precious.

Edwards is still in a position to 'boost' either candidate with his endorsement and delegates won. That should give him some leverage to make sure his core issues are included in the Party's Platform, and that they get the coverage they deserve.

Certainly looks like Edwards' decision not to endorse a candidate before Super Tuesday was a wise one.
