Nobody on DU is going without food or heat because of a political contribution.

Yes, there are times when politicians, like televangelists, prey on the vulnerable. And it is wrong.

But everyone posting here (well, almost everyone) is perfectly capable of making a rational decision about what they can afford. If a rational person decides to make some sacrifices to help a candidate or cause that they support, who are we to judge? Why is it our business?
