He's already laying the ground work. We have to accept homosexuals and get over our homophobia. We have to stop using immigrants as scapegoats. We have to put aside our difference on abortion and work on the areas we agree on in order to improve young people's lives. I think he says things in such a straight up and no-nonsense way, that more people just accept his premise, eventually. And the silly stuff, he manages to turn into truly funny jokes. If he's laughing it off, it makes it easier for everybody else to laugh it off and not internalize the humiliation. I think he's got so many approaches to all of this that he isn't going to have a lot of problems at all.
