I would like to discuss the issue of Obama's "coolness" and i welcome all opinions. Please be respectful to others(thats to both sides).



I have heard a few Clinton supporters talk about what they feel is the false glitz and coolness and Obama and how this quality is not presidential in nature or at least not substantial enough on its own.


To those who say this, i would suggest that you are not listening to the content of his core message. Obama is not cool or hip by any stretch of the imagination. But to me, it is cool that someone on the public stage is not only speaking out against the things that Ive always considered wrong(big money influence,fear mongering, divisiveness). I think its cool that he wants to end the Iraq war NOW. I think its cool that he wants to seek justice and equality for ALL Americans. Mostly, i think its cool that these are the things that are core to his message.

So in summary, I'm a 30ish suedo-hippo in hiding. I think its cool that i can "come out of the closet" :)


Hillary supporters, i love you all. Ive said some crappy things out of anger and id like to appologise.
I'm also sorry that you cant find what your looking for with Obama.
