make Election Day a national holiday. I mean seriously, WTF, we pay so much lip service to democracy yet me make everyone work on voting days. We cry about voter apathy, but who can vote if they work all day? Give everyone the day off and say "Here, you have nothing to do except exercise the freedoms which so many died for. GO VOTE!" Its that easy.
