I'm not trying to make anyone feel bad. We've come a long way since then and a little further since 1964. Democrats have only been getting the black vote since 1936 or so, iirc. There have been hundreds of years of vicious habit to counter.

This is going to be a great year for America and Americans and, for Democrats. :)
