As you seem to have some skills in this area: I look at a lot of online video of Senator Obama's events (I don't have a television). It appears to me that there is also a presence filtering through the crowd at rope lines, etc. This presence seems to be dressed to match the crowd and seems to move along parallel the Senator two to four people deep into the crowd, so that an appreciable number of the folks who are within 10' to 15' of the Senator are also within arms reach of one of these people.

Would that be going on? Or, am I just seeing things...
