Probably Bill Clinton does love his wife. They certainly have an unconventional marriage, but that doesn't necessarily preclude love.

However, anyone who can't see that Bill's frantic campaigning is for the purpose of getting himself back in the White House is surely blind. He always said being President was the most fun he ever had.

Likewise, anyone who can't see that Hillary is the antithesis of a feminist is deluded. I actually feel very sorry for her. She's spent her whole life accommodating her husband, both personally and publicly. I used to think she did it because of her own ambition, but now I'm not so sure. I honestly think she's doing this for Bill. Just like in everything else she's done in her life with him, she'll be the dutiful wife.

I think Hillary loves Bill madly - I literally think she would do anything for him. Based on her behavior throughout their marriage, I would venture that had the course of their lives together gone differently, she could very well have been an abused wife sticking by her man through thick and thin.

If, by some nefarious means (and at this point it's the only way it'll happen) the Clintons get the Democratic nomination, Bill will slip right back into his previous role (which a lot of people would be very happy with) with Hillary playing the part of President.

They are actually a very traditional couple when it comes to pre-feminist male-female roles.
