We elected Barack Obama to the Presidency, the first time a black man has held the office.

We elected Bev Purdue to be our Governor, the first woman to hold that office in North Carolina.

And we dropped the big house on the Wicked Witch by electing Kay Hagan to the Senate.

It's a Trifecta here in North Carolina and I'm soooo happy this morning!
