... as everyone in the Democratic Caucus seemed to rush to her side - minus Rep. Clyburn as well.

Pelosi was reluctant to endorse either candidate during the Democratic Primaries but the beaming smile she gave to then Sen. Obama when he won the candidacy told me she would be a good ally to him in the House.

I know a lot of Dems are still angry about her taking impeachment off the table but I can understand why she didn't. At that time, she became Speaker of the House, the third person in line to the Presidency which would look suspect if she went after *Bush and *Cheney as if she wanted to elevate herself to the WH this way. Besides, the Senate didn't have the votes and it would only harm Pelosi.

At least, that's how I and others see it.
