you know the right wing in the country is going to try to prevent any peace from taking place and they will throw out the same bigoted attacks against Obama that they did during the campaign when he tries to get something done.

in a way Hillary provides some cover, especially on this issue because both the Israeli and Palestinian side likes her. it's very important to get someone who is viewed by both sides as fair when working in this area and i think Hillary will bring that.

Hillary is viewed as a hawk so Obama can ask her to sit down with people from Iran and other places considered our enemy without it being used against Obama as giving in to our enemy.

Powell and Rice have shown that sec of states don't have that much power so for those concerned about the Clinton's influence in the Obama administration i don't think there is anything to worry about.

also aren't there laws that prevent outside campaigning if you are serving in a cabinet position ?
