13. Tabloid smear "journalism," pure and simple.
It's not about ideology, it's about manufacturing controversies for the sake of ratings. CNN, MSNBC, Fox News, they are desperate for some scandals so that they don't actually have to focus on real news, since the news is all very bad and gloomy right now, and no one is going to want to turn in to watch the meltdown of the American economy being reported on t.v. What they want is Bill Clinton exuding contempt for Obama, Hillary and Biden fighting for Obama's attention, etc. And if they can't get that, then they'll try to tie Obama to anyone remotely connected to him somehow.
