but I think Kerry's abilities have been vastly understated.

It took courage to come back from a tour of duty and stand against the policy that sent you. I think his ability to do his duty and be willing to speak sharply to power is undervalued.

He was my favorite (even though I voted for Dean in the primary) for President during the Clinton years. He hasn't been given his full due yet.
