I really did not take that away from the interview.

I DO think, however, that Obama himself is gonna be working on subjects other than hunting down everything the current regime did wrong. I honestly took what he said as being that the AG's office will deal with the prosecution and the decisions about that while Obama and the rest are cleaning up other messes.

To him, I don't think it is about witch hunts or political retribution, it is about letting the legal system work the way it is supposed to. That is something I respect (and always have from when he was here in the Illinois Senate) about him--he's able to take hs personal ego out of the mix, I think. He CAN delegate and has a good sense of who he can trust with what jobs.

To me, looking in from the outside, the AG's office is gonna stay busy investigating this crew for a LONG time because there is so much there. It may not be that protracted, however, if the international courts get involved--and Obama may know a lot more than he can tell George Stephanopolis.

In any event, I figure I'm gonna get a lot further influencing opinion with a Dem Whitehouse than I ever could have with the neocon crew we just had.
