Poll question: What station for the inauguration? I'm sticking with CNN!

I thought that today for the train ride I would be watching MSNBC. However I find myself actually watching more of CNN. Gergen, James, O'brien, Blitzer and A.C. are doing a wonderful job chronicling the days events. CNN is doing a great job talking about the history of race relations in this country with Soledad O'brien and Roland Martin. I think conditions in this country years ago when it comes to race relations was far worse than the general public realizes. Plus CNN is in HD. So far CNN's coverage has been outstanding. It's very educational. On Monday they are carrying the MLK speech (I Have a dream) in it's entirety. David Gergan is fantastic. So is Soledad and Roland. So far CNN gets an A+!

I was going to watch MSNBC today. But once again (for the hundredth time!) I have been disappointed by their weekend coverage. Please understand that I have not watched much of their coverage since 11am. But I have one question for MSNBC?

Where's Keith Obermam?

Where's Rachel Maddow?

Where's Eugene Robinson?

Heck... where's Pat Buchanan?

I know Chris Matthews is doing a wrap up show this evening. But could he not come on and provide insight throughout the day?

Over at CNN John King has to do a whole 3 hour show Sunday Morning. But he is still on CNN providing commentary. My favorite MSNBC reporter (Chuck Todd) is stuck reporting with underdeveloped cell phone technology. What a waste of good talent! Todd should be at the news-desk providing his insight.

I think MSNBC is short-changing the event by not having their "big guns" there. This event is historic. And it only happens once every 4 years. And this year is extra special! Why can't anyone at that station ever work a weekend?

I'm sticking with CNN for the rest of the day. And I will probably be with them for the rest of this fantastic historic event.

I'm curious... what station are my fellow DUers watching?
