20. It's double standards again.
People are going to rationalize why it's perfectly normal and okay and expected for Warren's prayers to be on TV but for Robinson's to be deliberately left out. People are going to rationalize why Warren should be on TV, but Robinson shouldn't.

Warren being on TV is apparently no big deal, and Robinson not being on TV is also apparently no big deal. We're supposed to believe that the fact that the homophobe is the one that gets broadcast, and the one who Opposes bigotry didn't is purely coincidental.

I don't believe that at all. Someone on staff stuffed Robinson into the schedule in an effort to appease us and shut us up, but also made sure he wouldn't be heard nationally because they probably didn't want him representing the inauguration. Isn't that the definition of a Token? You're there, but you're not allowed to be heard.
