This post might be seen as an attack on Congressional Dems. I consider it a call to action.

Something I learned in public schools is that you don't give in to bullies. Giving in to them doesn't appease, it encourages. It guarantees they'll come back again, with fiercer demands and harsher threats.

With Roberts, Dems sowed the seeds of Republican contempt. Alito's nomination is the result.

Will Dems allow the harvest of an entire generation of hardline Conservative SCOTUS rulings? Or will those same House Dems cut Alito down, and challenge the Repubs to go nuclear (within a year of the 2006 elections?)
