It HAS.

Its 'job' has been to propel Obama and Hillary into the spotlight of national politics to the exclusion of far better qualified individuals for the express purpose of dividing the democratic party and its supporters into two warring camps while at the same time virtually ignoring the republican race.
Stage One of the plan is nearly complete. Once Obama has been declared the nominee the media will proceed very methodically to destroy him. The Wright issue was just the beginning. EVERY little thing he does and says will be picked apart and sooner or later they'll find the Obama equivalent of a 'Dean Scream' and that will be that.
