1. Record license plate #'s. Somebody's on probation or parole
and shouldn't be there. If you get the license plates of two different people who are on probation or parole for drug use, or have drug conviction priors (a sure thing if he's dealing) then there is probable cause for a search. Also if there are children in the house child protective services has a much lower standard of probable cause for investigation than your county narcotics task force.

Get some cheap video cameras and hide them where they cover the driveway and entrances to the property. Do not make them visible. Record as much as possible.

Finally the landlord nor any agent of the landlord (his son) cannot enter your property without your consent or 24 hours written notice. If you file a complaint then there are cases where they cannot enter at all. See your local legal aid people for help.

Meth users screw up. They generally screw up on a serial basis so there should be some prior record of the son's law enforcement contact. Your county sherrif's office will give you tips on how to catch them screwing up. The exception is when the Sherriff is related to the user in question. This happened in Butte County and was an open scandal for years until the Sherrif's daughter OD'd and died recently.

I do property management in Butte County. Meth capital of the world.
