Appeals Court Judge, Seat 14: Griffith vs. Randall

I had nothing to go on but their voter guide write-ups in the newspaper, and almost decided on Griffith until I noticed a little right wing code in his essay: "... following the rule of law, not rewriting it."

I then found the link to his website and this statement:
"I am most thankful to God for giving me a future and perspective beyond this earth. Our first US Supreme Court Chief Justice, John Jay, said we should elect of all people Christians. I think that was because he knew that it is important for our judges to believe in God so they do not think they have become God once they get into office."

I can't believe I almost voted for a wing nut!
