10. I have a sister-in-law in Two Harbors
Nice place, but brutal in the winter!

Eagan is not too bad at all (that's Minne-soh-tan for "good"). There's a lot of bus service if you don't drive, and you're centrally located between Minneapolis and St. Paul.

Our economy is doing alright, comparatively speaking. We didn't take nearly as bad a beating during the recession, and it's still relatively affordable to live here-- although it's definately gone up over the last ten years.

One thing about native Minnesotans: most of us have lived here all our lives, and have very close social networks. Therefore, it may seem hard to get to know them socially, as they already have a tight-knit group of friends and family. Don't let that deter you, though, as there are also a lot of us who enjoy meeting new arrivals and having them as friends.

Best of luck on your moved!!!! :hi:
