If the subdued coverage of the recent shootings is a trend, then I hope the corporate/press whores continue it.

The sleazy so-called news/infotainers play on the hardwiring in our brains that feeds off of ritual sacrifice, which is what the slaughter of the young innocent virgins in high schools is, theater wise.

They should ax the frenzied coverage of the school shooting stuff and stop pushing the buttons in the more reptilian parts of our brains.

I don't care to watch when they toss children in the volcano anymore whether it's on an Indian reservation, on the green lawns of some school in Edina, or wherever.
