1. Getting started
I am in East Tennesse also, and you can go to the Tenn. Democratic Party website and click on your county. It will then show you where your party is and who the chairman is for that area. Then you can email the party leader and they can keep you updated on events, where they need help, etc. Most of the people that I talk to around here are going to vote with the dems this time. People are so fed up with this administration, they are finally paying attention. If you are in the first district (Tri-Cities area) we need help getting the word out about Rob Russell who is going for the congressional seat of the horrible David Davis this year. Rob is speaking at several towns in the area at local dem headquarters. It will be awful hard for a dem to win a seat in this area, but I am willing to help him try. Do what you can to help. I believe that few things are more empowering than getting involved with causes one believes in. Good luck and have fun!!
