Ohioans don't register a party affiliation when they sign up to vote. So I wonder where the info came from that "Hamilton county had a HUGE percentage of new voter registrations for Democrats this year, much more than for Republicans." ?

Although I don't live in Hamilton County, I drive through it almost every day as I live in adjacent Clermont County. The ONLY part of Hamilton County I could find that had more Bush than Kerry yard signs was Indian Hill, the wealthiest neighborhood of Cincinnati, which is big in area but not big in population.

In any event, I sincerely believe that Kerry won Hamilton County. However, it's inaccurate to point to party registration numbers to try to prove it.
