Doesn't the articulate and funny Mark Mallory of Cincinnati qualify as an A-A mayor
of a major Ohio city? Was Mark not- or dis-invited? I mean, is this the attitude of the
NE OH Dem "power base?" Sorta kidding there, but there seem to be these internal
power struggles, as referenced in the OP, all over, often within the A-A community.
What gives? Discouraging...but I have to agree with mod mom's point about "what has
the party *done* for them?" Unfortunately, the rethugs have much deeper pockets - from
we taxpayers and all the skimming and re-cycling they do. It often comes down to the $$
behind the curtain...
BTW, Cincy itself went Kerry-Edwards by 66% - 30%. It was the county that stayed red.
We (the campaign) helped cut the margin from 2000's 11% to 2004's 5.5%, about in half.
Couldn't overcome the ring county's fraud, though...
